DRAFT — FOR LEGAL REVIEW
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-02
This policy explains what Tailor & Code collects through tailorandcode.com and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what you send us to answer you, we don’t sell it, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we are
This website is operated by [operating entity — pending] (“Tailor & Code”, “we”, “us”). For anything about your data, write to hello@tailorandcode.com.
What we collect
- What you send through the contact form: your name, email, business name, website, type of business, the services you’re interested in, your message and, only if you choose to give it, your phone number.
- How you found us: if you arrive through a link with campaign tags (such as utm_source) or an ad click id, or from another website, we store that source in a first-party cookie (`tc_attr`) for up to 90 days and attach it to your inquiry. Visitors who arrive directly get no such cookie.
- Usage analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 in Consent Mode. Until you accept analytics cookies, it sends cookieless signals that don’t identify you. If you accept, it sets analytics cookies to measure visits. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies.
- Your cookie choice: a cookie (`tc_consent`) remembers whether you accepted or declined, for 6 months.
- Spam protection: the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots.
- Error reports: if something breaks on our servers, an error report is sent to Sentry. We don’t include your message or your full email address in those reports.
We don’t ask for payment details on this website, and we don’t collect sensitive data such as health information.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and set up a fit call
- To prepare a written plan and price, and to provide our services if you become a client
- To understand which of our channels bring inquiries (from the source of your visit)
- To keep the site working and secure
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don’t run advertising pixels on this site.
Who processes it for us
These service providers process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
- Our CRM provider (HighLevel): stores inquiries so we can answer them
- Vercel: hosts this website and provides cookieless page-view counts
- Google (Google Analytics 4): usage analytics, under the consent rules above
- Cloudflare: spam protection (Turnstile), domain and email routing
- Sentry: server error reports
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Text messages and email
We don’t send text messages from this website. If you give us your phone number, we use it only to call you about your inquiry. We would only text you after you separately agree to it.
We email you to answer your inquiry. We don’t add you to a newsletter or marketing list without your consent, and any marketing email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that don’t become a project are deleted 12 months after our last contact.
- Client records are kept as long as needed to provide the services, meet tax and legal obligations and resolve disputes.
- The attribution cookie expires after 90 days; the consent cookie after 6 months.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner by writing to hello@tailorandcode.com.
How we protect it
- Everything travels over encrypted HTTPS connections, and every page is served with a Content Security Policy that blocks unauthorized scripts.
- This website has no database of its own: inquiries go straight to our CRM, which only authorized people can access.
- The contact form is rate-limited and screened for automated abuse.
- Credentials for our services are kept out of the website’s code.
Your choices and rights
- Cookies: you can decline analytics cookies in the banner. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline automatically.
- Access, correction and deletion: you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@tailorandcode.com.
- State privacy laws: depending on where you live (for example California, under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights. We honor them, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.
We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, so nobody else can get or erase your information.
Children
This website is for businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll say so on this page before it takes effect.
